I was completely surprised this morning to wake up to a new DD!!!



Thank you so much to `equivoque for suggesting this photograph and ^rhapsouldize for featuring it!!!! When I stopped to take photos of these giant fiberglass people, the man who made them--and in whose front yard they reside--came running out to explain about them. He had shaving cream on his face and was wearing a super-retro jumpsuit--too adorable! It was classic. He opened up his workshop and showed us the molds for his giant "Muffler Men"--it was a truly awesome roadside moment. I'm happy that more people will see these cool slices of Americana through this DD.

I've been feeling creative lately and taking a lot of fun photographs. I have so many still to scan, and even more to develop! I also went blackberry picking and peach picking in the hot summer heat, and I made my first ever batch of jam with some of my peaches! Here's a Time-Zero Pola I shot of my first batch of jam, ever!
