i'm a complete collage beginner, so any feedback is very appreciated!

"jahrzehntelang verboten" or "forbidden for decades"

mixed media collage using a 25 year old waterlogged time-zero polaroid*, my own found ephemera, and some very nice pieces from "the lady's closet" at [link] which just happens to be the shop of awesome collage artist extraordinaire *colorblindme's mom!!!! :boogie:

*I have a friend who owns a salvage yard in Philadelphia. He finds the most amazing things in the cars he gets in. A while back, he found many packs of 1980 Time-Zero polaroid film, still sealed in the boxes. However, the film, along with being long-expired, had been soaking in water for an undetermined period of time. He nevertheless dried it out and sent it to me to try out! Well, sadly, all of the batteries were coroded. However, I savalged some of the film for use in collage!!!!! All the distressing you see here is from this lovely film's 25-year-old journey through "life" ;)

much stronger... i think the polaroid format is really helping that... and it feels much less 'tacked on'... except for the text...

ten portfolio reviews, an hour long lecture with a half hour Q&A, a 45 minute gear check and the last half hour was orientation about the location (where to eat. where to get drunk, etc. LOL) for those not from here. would've been nicer had i not awoke at 1 AM this morning never to return to bed. it went pretty smoothly all things considered. :)
