Gorgeous!

oh, thank you! this is a really hard building to photograph! i hope some of my holgas turned out. none of the digital shots I made of it were very good. the current scaffolding doesn't help, either, but my main problem was perspective. for this photo, i literally stood there like 20 minutes trying to get the angle i wanted without any other buildings in the picture. i got so stressed about it that, when i was done, i was out of breath and all sweaty! i think i was holding my breath! LOL i never seemed to get it at the right time of day for the light, either. i went early yesterday morning to do one of the whole street scene--it's kind of good, but still not what i wanted. probably around 11 or so is a good time. i took this one about 2 or 3, with the sun hitting one side but not the other.
