i'm a complete collage beginner, so any feedback is very appreciated!

mixed media collage using a polaroid 669, my own found ephemera, and a stamp from "the lady's closet" at [link] which just happens to be the shop of awesome collage artist extraordinaire *colorblindme's mom!!!! :boogie:

also stronger... the stamp is working better... i think having it in the 'frame' is why... and the 'rich and healthy' text is working... but not the ticket... for whatever reason...

Yes, you are getting the gist of it. I think the reason mgilpin thinks the ticket doesn't work is that it is too starkly white and stands out, overpowering other aspects of the image.

thank you. yes, i can see what you two mean. it's so hard to figure out how to do a collage, esp. when you're inexperienced and working with a small area! i need more practice :giggle:

quick thought... had you considered coloring the ticket... so that it isn't white...
