Hens and Chickens by futurowoman Hens and Chickens by futurowoman
I love the memory of all of the Hens and Chickens in my grandparents' yard when I was a child. I recently bought some for my garden.

:wow: they almost look metallic!
was it your grandparents who lived on J street next to the gun shop?
did you know they recently closed the gun shop, and it has been taken over by a...

*pause for dramatic effect*

Yeah, it's so weird how they took on a metallic, blusish hue!

The grandparents I'm talking about in this post lived over in South Sacramento, near Power Inn and Fruitridge. They were my mother's parents. My father's mother is the one that lived near the gun shop. That's great about the florist! Is the gun mural gone? I should have taken a photo of it!!!!

yeah the mural got painted over in a flash... i've been thinking about it shooting it forever too but never got around to it because i figured it would always be there.... but i guess the power of the flower are stronger than the powder of the gun... or something :D
